America's Pivot To Asia Ends On The Wrong Side Of Asia
The shameless Obama 'pivot to Asia' is ending in shameful retreat. Occupation bases are crumbling from Japan to Hawaii. Destroyers are breaking down in the South China Sea. Aircraft carriers, missile defenses, and attention are being pulled from East to West Asia, to be fed to Iran*. The long-strategized pivot to Asia has ended up on the wrong side of Asia entirely. It was supposed to be East Asia, not West Asia bro, that's last century.
In 2011, the war criminal Barack Obama talked about returning to the core mission of colonialism, finding Asia. Obama said, "After a decade in which we fought two wars that cost us dearly, in blood and treasure, the United States is turning our attention to the vast potential of the Asia Pacific region." That's what sex slavers like Columbus were looking for in America and after over two centuries, America was finally going to take it.
Why Asia? It's really not that complicated. In the geopolitical game of RISK, Asia simply has the most resources (7), the largest population (the Valeriepeiris Circle), and the largest market for finished products. The White Empire under Europe took India easily but failed in China and under America they're doing the same thing. America is just the latest head of an undead White Empire and what do empires do? The same thing we do every day, Pinky, try to take over the world!
You can dress it up in liberalism or dress it down in Trumpism, it's the same naked imperialism. Obama (and his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton) proposed doing this the classic liberal way, using Democracy™ and Human Rights® as Trojan Horses, keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. Trump just went in with a battering ram and declared Trade War immediately, but it's the same strategy, just differing in velocity. Everybody since Columbus has been trying to 'pivot to Asia' because that's where the stuff is/was.
This pivot to Asia is broken now, on the Axis of Resistance. Trump's 2025 National Security Strategy boldly predicted everything that could and would go wrong saying, "America will always have core interests in ensuring that Gulf energy supplies do not fall into the hands of an outright enemy, that the Strait of Hormuz remain open, that the Red Sea remain navigable." That's exactly what happened lol. Iran controls Gulf energy, the Strait of Hormuz is closed, and the Red Sea too. The US Navy has been beaten by both Yemen and Iran and the school-shooters (they targeted Minab) of the USS Lincoln are effectively mutinying by jumping overboard. Pivot to Asia on what axis? The Axis of Resistance has made that impossible.
Iran is why the last aircraft carrier in East Asia (the USS George Washington) is being dragged across the board unceremoniously. To relieve the Lincoln which died of canteen, which relieved the Ford which died of toilets. The Axis of Resistance has broken the US Navy not by sinking its ships but stretching its supply lines to the breaking point. Exchanging aircraft carriers doesn't change the logistical problem, it just puts a different dog on the short leash. Which Iran yanks as it pleases. When the Washington follows the Lincoln and Ford into ignominious retreat is just a timing difference. Iran's debasification strategy has made aircraft carriers useless without even using hypersonic missiles. Just make the pirates miserable and they'll walk the plank of their own volition.
Now consider why the US had carrier groups in East Asia, at least nominally. It was, in the Trump regime's words, to counter, "Threats against our supply chains that risk U.S. access to critical resources, including minerals and rare earth elements." Like the joke about Australia spending $30 billion dollars to protect its trade with China from China, this was a fool's errand in the first place. Like Hormuz was open before they went to war, China was trading all this stuff to America before they want to trade war. But the White Empire can't tolerate trade on equal terms with anyone, especially non-White people, so they went on a tirade that blew up their own supply lines.
I've gone into it in detail, but China's tit-for-tat sanctions on certifications, rare earths, and dual use products plus its invocation of a new Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law plays UNO Reverso on America. Whereas America could enforce bureaucratic sieges (sanctions) by punishing third parties and avoiding any retaliation, China has turned all this on their head. They've sanctioned US military companies from rare earths – meaning everything destroyed by Iran will not be rebuilt – and sanctioned third parties (like in Singapore) that collaborate with them. As some stink tank said, “The new rules essentially force companies to choose between access to the Chinese market and access to the US market, with penalties possible in either direction.” And who does almost everyone on earth (including America lol) trade the most with? China.
The only thing America could do is force the issue, like the British did with gunboats to force opium on China, but this incarnation of White Empire is history repeating as farce, a spent farce. America no longer has any naval advantage (just look at the Chinese fleet), their air advantage is dangling from a thread in West Asia (behold their recent defeat), and they're just embarrassing themselves (literally drowning in their own shit). The 'Israelis' were mocked as the diaper army, and the Americans have become the toilet Navy.
For example, the USS Benfold (a Destroyer) recently stalled in the South China Sea which "meant sailors were without galley services, toilets and air conditioning. Potable water was also affected, Comer said. He did not respond to a question about how sailors handled waste." They were using buckets or just hanging their asses off the sides, if you're wondering.
And in their Japanese bases, "A Defense Department Inspector General review found widespread infrastructure problems, including moldy housing, failing water lines, deteriorating concrete and maintenance and storage facilities in need of repair." And in Hawaii, where the US military already poisoned everybody's water supply once, "About 4,000 soldiers are in barracks without central air conditioning due to mechanical failures at a water treatment plant." These guys are not pivoting anywhere. The wheels are literally coming off the whole colonial project.
