Rule #2: They Lying
The simplest political rules are 1) America bad and 2) they lying. If you just follow these two steps there is no third step. 99% of the time, you'll be right every time.
The latest, greatest lies are A) the Americans are winning vs. Iran and B) they're not losing anything at home. This is an important distinction because America has not won without losing before. America has not won many battles without losing anything they cared about. Take World War Too (Korea, Vietnam) or World War III (Iraq, Afghanistan) for example. All these wars gained them filthy lucre, spread chaos among competitors, and cost them little on the home front. Just as a fishmonger profits from 'losing' his fish, these warmongers have profited from losing their wars.
Today, however, they are both not winning and losing, which is a new one. A new two, actually.
America isn't winning in Iran much worse than it didn't win in Iraq, it hasn't even been able to set foot there. Even the idea of a ground invasion has the cowards in the Army purging in terror. And the reality of a naval siege has the seamen jumping overboard. And Reaper drones are now being marked as one-way because they lose so many. They are not winning hard and, worst of all, they're also losing.
America is losing something, namely its empire overseas. Hormuz is the jugular connecting the American version of White Empire to Asia, and like Britain losing control of Suez, America now bleeds. They are depleting their petroleum reserve trying to lie themselves out of it, but this is a historical juncture where they lose something. Japan and Korea are already buckling, and those were load-bearing vassals. America can delay the effects on their home economy, but not deny them. A reckoning is coming.
And as Iran's Esmaeil Baqaei said, quoting Fyodor Dostoevsky, who I am sure most Americans have read, "The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others."
Trump is lying about Venezuelan crude replacing their reserves (it's too thick and hard to get), he's lying about controling Hormuz, and lying about Iran being decimated and desperate. The press complicates all this by taking it at face value, when he's simply lying constantly. I won't even go into too much detail here, remember our heuristic. They lying they lying they lying. While this remarkably still works to stave off defeat in the news, it can't save them from historical defeat. You can't lose two naval battles, multiple foreign bases, many airframes, and still frame this as either victory or a chaotic loss to your benefit. I mean, you can, but you'd be lying.
This is where both Trumpist and Never-Trumpists lie. Trump lies to everyone and who knows what they believe, but Americans who say it's just Trump are self-deceived. Both Make America Great Again and the Democratic Socialists of America contain America in the name, and that's the problem. It's Genocide and Diet Genocide. Like Scarface, Trump at least tells the truth when he's lying, while Democrats actually think they're the good guys. As Scarface said, "You need people like me, so you can point your fuckin’ fingers and say, “That’s the bad guy.” So, what that make you? Good? You’re not good. You just know how to hide. How to lie. Me, I don’t have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So, say goodnight to the bad guy! Go on. The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on, make way for the bad guy."
There is no point you can go back to to make America great, nor is there a progression along the American way to make it OK. 'American' is a cursed identity and there is no redeeming it. There is no imperializing better, America just needs to go away. Which Iran is doing to them in their forward bases, but then they need to go back home and keep leaving. It's time to break up the USA. Not winning against Iran starts them on this path, and losing control of their global empire accelerates it. Trump is just, as Cesaire said, the Hitler that this diseased society called out for, that is, for its own destruction.
Americans today cannot distinguish the truth within themselves, which is that you cannot be a good person and a good American. These are mutually exclusive categories. You're lying to yourself to think that there was either a great point in the past (MAGA) or a progressive path in the future (DSA). America was evil, America is evil, and America needs to pay by going away. Iran is, mashallah, pushing them out of their region, and the push is strong enough that fall goes all the way.
It's not just Iran. It's not just Gaza. To return to our rules of thumb, America's wars are all bad. Even their conduct in World War II is only justifiable as a distraction that helped the USSR. Their indisriminate firebombings and nuking of civilians would have been prosecuted as war crimes had they lost (as Curtis LeMay admitted) and liberating oppressors like the UK or France was a net negative (the French went onto nuke Algeria, and the Brits went onto concentration camp Africans). It seems simplistic but it really is that simple. America bad, on a categorical level.
Americans lie constantly, about everything, especially about America. Their founding was never about human 'freedom', they were a bunch of rapists and slavers and only property counted for voting. And the whole narrative of World War II was a lie, A) that they won it and B) that they did it for the Jews. The commies won the war and Americans kept fighting actual liberation all over the world in World War Too. And America followed the Nazi's penultimate plan of deporting the Jews, placing them in a ghetto near the oil to serve kapo over the crude. It's all a lie including what's in front of you. And anyone saying America can America its way out of this is lying to themselves and you.
The simplest rules in geopolitics are A) America bad and B) they lying. A lot of energy and words are wasted trying to untie their lies and a lot of asses are made assuming there's some conscience in Americans to appeal to. They have none and cannot be trusted and anyone telling you otherwise is lying to themselves worse than you.
