When my Achchi started losing her mind, very late in life, past 95, she was kind. After memories faded and everything was stripped away, that was her core essence; that's what was left behind. I remember watching her sleep once, thumbing idly through her Bible. When she woke up, she looked at me and said, you lovely, lovely boy. She didn't know my name, but she knew that she loved me. I thought, wow, we should all be so lucky. That when we lose our mind—as we all will, in time—that what's left should be so loving.

That won't be me. What's at the core of my being is a workmanlike ire. I think I'm like my grandfather, except meaner; he was always in his office, doing stuff, as I am, except I'm more gruff. And what he did was better. If my kids remember me by anything, it'll be, just give me a minute! Except I'm on Twitter. Seeya was never like that, but he was always absorbed in his work, he was always in his office, he was always—quite directly—fighting injustice. When Seeya developed Alzheimer's, my father arranged for him to still go to an office and pretend to work, because without work he was lost. When he couldn't do that anymore, I could see it in his eyes, he was lost. We all have something at the core of our being, something we default to. For Seeya it was his social work, for Achchi it was her social network. I've seen two grandparents reduced to their core being, and then seen them die shortly after it was lost.

I'm reluctant to connect my grandparents to what follows, because I loved them. But dementia comes for nations as well as grandparents. Everything that claims identity must lose it, change is constant.

There are, perhaps, three stages to this, according to the Buddha, through my bad Buddhist interpretation. First, “Like a fish thrown on the ground, brought out from its watery home, this mind trembles to leave behind the realm of Māra,” (D:34). Then, when even dementia loses its hold, “Before long, will this body lie on earth, thrown away, devoid of consciousness and useless as a piece of stick,” (D:41). Finally, after many births, if one approaches Buddhahood, “Having known that this body is comparable to foam and understanding that it is of the nature of a mirage, let him go beyond the sight of death, having broken off the flowery arrows of Māra,” (D:46).

Māra is, for our purposes, illusion. And self-identity is as illusory as collective identities, like nations, or empires, or other such ungodly creations. And as comparable to foam on the ocean. And as go dementia patients, so goes demented nations. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

What Follows

It's not so much that Joe Biden had dementia but that he was dementia. It's not so much that Donald Trump has dementia but that he is dementia. I mention both men because who cares who warms the chair in a burning house? Cometh the hour, cometh the man, and 'America' simply has all this firepower, and it has to be fired somewhere. As Madeline Albright—who's keeping hell warm for them—said, “What's the point of having this superb military you're always talking about if we can't use it?” Hence we get successive fire sales of the military-industrial complex in Ukraine, Gaza, and now Iran. Everything must go.

Hence 'America' is reverting to its base state, even though it's out of date. They're attacking the USSR (it's Russia now, Grandpa), they're trying to put down the Islamic Revolution (‘it was the summer of '79’), and they're still genociding natives (“the merciless Indian Savages”). It's not that 'America' is 'involved' in the genocide of Gaza; it's an empire now (as Karl Rove said), and this is its core being, as demented as it seems. 'Israel' is not corrupting 'America', this is like the heel corrupting the foot. It's all gangrene, always has been. As the historian Arnold Toynbee said (via Lorsurdo's Liberalism).

The ‘Bible Christian’ of European origin and race who has settled among peoples of non European race overseas has inevitably identified himself with Israel obeying the will of Jehovah and doing the Lord’s work by taking possession of the Promised Land, while he has identified the non Europeans who have crossed his path with the Canaanites whom the Lord has delivered into the hand of his Chosen People to be destroyed or subjugated. Under this inspiration, the English speaking Protestant settlers in the New World exterminated the North American Indian, as well as the bison, from coast to coast of the Continent.

Toynbee said this in 1962. This is not commentary on modern affairs but reflection on old news. 'America's' early genociding was couched as something revolutionary, when they still had the cognitive function to sustain such 'American Dreams.' Now we are all collectively waking into the nightmare it always was for someone, just people denied humanity by selfish White liberalism. Thus Thomas Jefferson and Donald Trump are actually saying the same thing, just before and after the cultural dementia set in. As TJ said, in a letter to Alexander von Humbolt,

On the commencement of our present war, we pressed on them the observance of peace and neutrality, but the interested and unprincipled policy of England has defeated all our labors for the salvation of these unfortunate people. They have seduced the greater part of the tribes within our neighborhood, to take up the hatchet against us, and the cruel massacres they have committed on the women and children of our frontiers taken by surprise, will oblige us now to pursue them to extermination, or drive them to new seats beyond our reach.

This is exactly what Donald Trump is saying about Hamas et al, except more drooly and unruly now. DJ said,

What we have witnessed is an all-out attack on the very existence of a Jewish state in the Jewish homeland. The Israelis have stood strong and united in the face of an enemy that has kidnapped, tortured, raped and slaughtered innocent men, women, children and even little babies... The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out.

It's all lies, but look at how much better presented they were before the brainrot took hold. 'America' was always genocide, but now it's genocide with dementia. Late-stage 'America' has been reduced to its core personality, which is killing natives, calling them savages/terrorists when they resist, and making blood money out of dead children. When their nation was young, this actually worked. But now that they are old, they just look like jerks.

Even in the nineties and noughties—back when 'America' elected middle-aged presidents—they still had the cognitive function to cover up every president's actual function, which is presiding over genocidal expansion of an oligarchic slave state run by corporations, ie property. Eminence rapists like Bill Clinton were able to genocide the Palestinians smarter and slower, pulling the old 'treaty' trick they pulled on the Native Americans over and over. And George W. Bush, who seemed like an idiot at the time, now looks like a relative genius, able to launch a genocide of millions of Muslims in a way that most of the world went along with it. But now, as Donald Trump said, they're not sending their best. The current representatives of a crumbling 'America' are physically crumbling specimens.

Trump and Biden (two cheeks of the same ass) are both older than Clinton and Bush II. Not older than those precedents when they took office, but older than them right now. It's not just that 'American' Democracy™ is dying; it has a death wish and elects dementia. The stupid population elects stupid leaders who express their core being, their idiot id, killing natives and taking their land because freedumb. Tocqueville, who I'm sure most 'Americans' have not read, actually called it when he said, “I think that in no country in the civilized world is less attention paid to philosophy than in the United States.” Obama was the last snake to sell that oil, even in the dim Oprah's Book Club sense. Now they've gone full retard. The country functions below a sixth-grade reading level and they elect people who ‘tell it like it is.’ And 'America' really is this stupid, and Trump speaks to them. A cruel and ignorant man for a cruel and ignorant settler populace.

It is not some anomaly that 'America' is genociding Gaza; 'America' is genocide, how do you think they got there? Getting away with genocide is the ultimate White privilege and Jews are rightly confused that they're criticized for doing what, in any other century, was applauded. ‘How did you get there?’ they reasonably ask Australians, Canadians, and other abominations, who hunted and skinned their own native populations. The tragicomic fact is that Jews are still not White enough (as they'll find out soon enough when they're abandoned). 'Israel' is just the final ghetto Europeans sent Jews to, crying emoji, lol. Jews sold their collective souls to White Empire at the end, just in time to be holding the bag for them. Another European tradition.

'Israel' is like Noam Chomsky's second wife, getting the blame for ruining a career that was always shite. It's not that Noam Chomsky lost control at the end and thus his reputation; he just lost control of his reputation's curation, mirroring the dementia of the demented society that made him their successfully useless opposition. Chomsky started out funded by the Pentagon, and his late-stage dirty-dicking it with Jeffrey Epstein and Woody Allen wasn't the dementia talking; it was him expressing his true essence. Chomsky was always an op, the loyal opposition. But he got tossed out in the Epstein files cause they (that amorphous they) didn't care about him, just as they don't care about anything. The White Empire has early-onset dementia (as far as empires go) and is throwing up blood and raping children in its death throes, and doesn't care who knows.

You can see in this and that aging man the aging clan that slouches towards Bethlehem, sacrificing children in a vain and deranged attempt to live again. But no one can. Death knocks for every man or clan or plan, and it doesn't knock twice. Meanwhile, as the blood philosopher Yahya al-Sinwar said, “Red freedom has a door, struck by every bloodied hand,” and God, I believe answers them. So a wretched White Empire is put down by righteous men. It's already happened, though the signal has not reached their demented brain yet. What brain is there to reach?

At the end, this demented Empire is led by dementia'd old men, humiliating themselves with their naked lust and avarice. It doesn't matter if the men actually have dementia; it's precisely what they represent. And I certainly don't use dementia as an insult, it was the fate of my beloved grandparents and probably my own. I say that dementia can reveal who we were (not always, for sure). At the end of life, if we die of natural causes, we are oft reduced to our natural conscience. Our base-level reasoning, when all the filters are turned off. Perhaps we are basically kind to others, or perhaps we are most devoted to our work, or perhaps we are genocidal rapists who just want to hurt. You can see White Empire is the latter, reduced to being as White supremacist and empire-seizing as inhumanly possible. So you get likely dementia patients running an actually demented society. It doesn't matter if Trump has dementia. 'America' does.
