Who Gives A Ship?
The general deal behind colonialism is a steal. They steal resources and corrupt the victims with manufactured goods, to fund more evil. That’s the triangle they’ve been ringing since the slave ships, marking feeding time for both sharks and capitalists. Mashallah, however, in his inveterate, illiterate greed, Donald Trump doesn’t understand the art of this, only a deep, gnawing need to be big dog hence all the trees he's upbarking. Trump is screwing up the old colonial con by making it an obvious steal, and revealing that the triangle is a rapidly fading dot.
America can no longer manufacture goods, and is just nakedly evil now. They can no longer make the ships to move this goods, but just scream at people. However, it's not these moral qualities that gets them, but material quantities, or lack thereof. Even if you want to make a steal of a deal with America, there's nothing there at all. They simply don't have the wherewithal to produce stuff, and can only yell at us. Trump is asking people to buy American ships that don't exist and American goods that aren't produced. It's an extortion to buy non-existent resources. So the only thing that's going to happen is that America itself won't exist in a few years, inshallah, because they're tariffing and taxing themselves into a corner. So shout-out to Donald Trump, our man inside, doing what we should have done long ago. Cut America off.
Take American ship building, which at this point is pure bullshitting. In Guancha (via Karl Sanchez), Liu Chenghui says, “Military and industry analysts say that less than 10 merchant ships were built at US shipyards last year, while China built more than 1,000.” This is echoed by the CSIS, a US think tank (a weapon like a regular tank but with nerds and words). Those dickheads say, “In 2024, China captured over 53 percent of global market share in the commercial shipbuilding industry, while the United States accounted for only 0.1 percent.”

They continue, saying “Just one Chinese firm, the state-owned juggernaut China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), built more commercial vessels by tonnage in 2024 than the entire U.S. shipbuilding industry has built since the end of World War II.”
Indeed, the only shipping the greater White Empire controls is from occupied territory, Japan and half of Korea. The UK Navy is sunk and US shipbuilding is a sunk cost, all that's left in the capital of White Empire is the marketing department. All their President can do is move numbers around on a spreadsheet and shout. They can't actually build sheet, so bullshit must suffice for now.
As Karl Sanchez himself says, “Trump has instituted a hairbrained [sic but I like it] scheme to rebuild Outlaw US Empire shipbuilding by taxing Chinese made or owned vessels with a port fee, which the article explains, has the goal of making those corporations that order ships to cease buying Chinese and buy American from shipyards that don’t exist.” They are trying to sell something that doesn't exist, like Trump's hair, or brain. Trump is trying to resurrect the triangle trade with a folded napkin that he just scribbled some numbers on and waved in the air. It's triangle trade without trying, or even an angle. It is, in a word, hairbrained.
On top of tariffs, Trump will also charge up a million USD for 10,000+ TEU ships, just based on their provenance. Playing ship sheriff is exorbitant, extortionate, and physically impossible to comply with. The goal of this policy is for the rest of the world to buy American ships, but those are non-existent. It's an offer others must refuse because there's nothing on offer, just some vibes about theoretical American shipbuilding in the future. And occupied East Asia simply doesn't have capacity, nor does America have the mental capacity to exploit them properly. It's not clear what this accomplishes, Trump is trying to vibe-code trade policy and it simply doesn't compute. As the CSIS itself says, “the USTR’s policy announcements had some initial impacts on China’s share of new ship orders. However, more recent data suggests that these effects may have been temporary. By summer 2025, China’s share of global orders began to recover, ticking back up to above 65 percent in June and up to 84 percent by August.” Trump can threaten all he wants. People increasingly don't give a ship and it shows.
All that'll happen is old rust buckets end up delivering highly tariffed goods to America, while newer, better Chinese ships will serve the world. As Karl Sanchez sez, “Outlaw US Empire trade with the world is now just 14% dollar-wise not tonnage-wise meaning it ought to be easy to use non-China built vessels—and there are many—for shipping the rather small amount of trade the Empire imports.” This is happening. As Chenghui from above said, “Swiss-based MSC, along with Hapag-Lloyd, Maersk and CMA CGM, has moved China-linked vessels off U.S. trade lanes to limit or avoid the new fee altogether.”
The lesson America misses from China—because they refuse to learn anything from anybody—is that if someone (even, indeed, especially your opponent) has better production methods, you need to transfer them. If America was smart, they'd get China to teach them how to build ships again, but they're putting the whip before the horse. They're shooting themselves in the foot rather than give an inch. They're cutting off their nose to respite their own ignorance. I could go on, but America can't like this. They're cutting themselves off from world trade with these tirades. What goes around comes around, or in this case, does not.
As God told his most recent messenger, “They are planning a scheme, and so am I: so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while.” What is happening is what should be happening, mashallah. For the Gaza genocide alone, America deserves to be cut off from world trade, and that's just their most recent genocide! White Empire is an abomination founded on plunder and theft which has killed at least 38 million with sanctions since the 1970s alone, making them historically much worse than the Nazis, who only lasted 12 years on the throne. White Empire has been genociding and thieving for centuries, America is just the latest capital of the sentient capital that has been ruling the world since the 16th century at least, devouring entire continents.
Like Hitler was the last honest European (he applied European colonial procedures to Europe, as Césaire said), Trump is the last honest American. He applies American sanctions to Americans, via tariffs and port charges. Americans foot the bill for his foot in mouth disease, as they should do. Let them revolt and overthrow their governments, as they keep telling us to do. In his inveterate, illiterate destruction of American influence, Trump channels the American id, which is idiotic at the core. And through his trade policy, Trump does what the rest of the world should do, cut America off and effectively sanction them. In this way, Trump's attempts to restart American shipping and manufacturing are so retarded that they're self-defeating, a god-send to the Resistance, because it forces even self-interested cowards to also resist, out of sheer self-interest.
The truth is if you're not sanctioned or attacked by America today, you're not independent, but even America's dependents can't put up with this. Not out of pride, which was pawned long ago, but they physically just can't do it. How do you buy ships that don't exist? How do you pay tariffs that exceed your margins, and which aren't even billed to you (importer pays)? How do you invest and transfer technology when your skilled workers are deported? It's not that nations don't want to kow-tow to America, they're lining up to. It's just that Trump is such a cow that it's not even possible!
Ye olde triangle trade worked because comprador elites got something for their humiliation, but America has no manufacturing now, just manufiction. All Trump offers is the boot without even a lick of anything palatable. And so the planet moves on without America, not out of bravery but craven self-interest. In a sad way it's actually American leadership that leads to a multi-polar world, or the lack thereof. Shipping is just one example of their bullshitting. Trump can bluster and moan, expressing the exceptionalism America feels in its bones, but the world, increasingly, is moving on. America wants to take all its toys and go home? OK. They don't even make toys anymore, they'll all imported. So who gives a ship? No one.
