This Week In Resistance: All Over The Map

I keep telling my wife to not read the news but then she asks what do I read? To which I say uhhh, because the alternative is a firehose of Telegram trauma and scattered newsletters that no civilian could or should handle. So this is a roundup of news from the Axis of Resistance, covering the main fronts where the White Empire is causing drama. This is up to January 15th abouts, I'm assuming no fresh trauma tomorrow.

War Map Of WWIII

Let's start with a map. Note that I'm just coloring this from memory so tell me if you disagree within the categories I'm using, if you disagree more fundamentally make your own map, please.

I have colored things black and white, but the places that are black aren't particularly free, White Empire just hasn't decided to smite them recently. The places striped black and white have been smited already, couped, cowed, or corrupted liberally. The grey is the Lesser and Greater White Empire, both discovering that they're expendable periphery. The core White Empire is in America these days, and it's engaged in Nazi-level militancy.

Green is the Axis of Resistance, which is not yet a formal alliance, unfortunately. The places in green and red stripes are under attack right now, and everybody is of course threatened. The White Empire hates all forms of sovereignty, and with tariffs the whole world is effectively under siege.

In terms of hot threats and open attacks, the imperial core is going supernova, attacking Iran through hybrid warfare (riots and armed gangs) and Venezuela through kidnapping and siege warfare. It is also threatening to attack its own gang of thieves (Denmark, over Greenland) and making threatening noises at Mexico and Nigeria, inter alia. Broadly speaking they're attacking everybody, this is just me coloring by memory.

Iran

The main site of abuse in the news is Iran these days. They're playing regime change reruns, long after the plot has gone stale.

As a quick background, understand that Iran has a head of state (Ayatollah Khamenei) and an elected government under President (Pezeshkian). The latter runs the economy day-to-day, though they have limited leeway because of brutal American sanctions, that their gang of thieves get in on. The classic imperial playbook is to attack civilians with sanctions (White word for sieges) and get them to revolt and throw their leader's head over the wall, enabling them to be conquered easily.

As then US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in 2019, "Our sanctions make things much worse for the Iranian people and we're convinced this will lead them to rise up against the regime.” As he tweeted now, “Happy new year to every Iranian in the streets. Also to every Mossad agent walking beside them.” This is the old color revolution playbook, which is as old as siege warfare. This is just the modern way of doing barbaric sieges.

Remember again the difference between the Iranian state and its government. What started as merchant protests against the latter has been subverted into foreign-sponsored riots and sabotage against the state itself. Ayatollah Khamenei—who is a great thinker and leader—plainly states it. He said,

We know the bazaar well. One cannot confront the Islamic Republic and the Islamic system in the name of the bazaar or bazaaris. Yes, these gatherings were largely by bazaaris, but their message was a correct one.

I heard this both on television and have seen it in assessments and in practice. When a merchant looks at the country’s monetary situation, the devaluation of the national currency and the instability of currency prices and foreign exchange, which result in an unstable business environment. If he says, “I can’t do business.” He is telling the truth.

The country’s officials acknowledge this, and I know that the respected President and other senior officials are seeking remedies for this problem. This is a real problem, and there is also the fact that the hand of the enemy is involved.

-> Let me say this as well: This increase in foreign currency prices, the unchecked rise of foreign exchange and its instability … constantly going up and down so that a merchant doesn’t know what his situation will be, is not natural.

This is the work of the enemy. Of course, it must be stopped. Through various measures, efforts are underway by the President, the heads of the other branches, and some other officials to fix this. Therefore, the bazaaris’ protest was about this issue, and this issue is a legitimate one.

What is important is that a group of provoked individuals, mercenaries of the enemy, stand behind the bazaaris, taking advantage of their struggle to chant slogans against Islam, against Iran, and against the Islamic Republic. This is an issue.

Protest is legitimate, but protest is different from riot.

We talk to protesters; officials should engage with protesters.

But talking to rioters is of no use. Rioters must be put in their place.

That some people, under various titles and names, come with the intention of destruction and making the country insecure—while they position themselves behind faithful, healthy, and revolutionary bazaaris, exploit their protests, and cause unrest, is absolutely unacceptable.

One must recognize the enemy’s actions. The enemy does not sit quietly and uses every opportunity.

Here, they saw an opportunity and sought to exploit it.

This is via @FotrosResistancee on Telegram, who is my goto for all things Iranian. I won't explain Khamenei's explanation any further (though I will show you some evidence). You can also deduce the same by seeing who is supporting the riots, the USA and 'Israel'. They foment chaos everywhere, in case you hadn't noticed. As Allah said long ago,

“When they are told, ‘Do not cause corruption in the land,’ they say, ‘We are only promoters of peace,’ but it is they who are really causing corruption, though they do not realize it.”

You can have merchant protest against a government. As President Pezeshkian said,

We are working hard to solve the problems of the people who have protests, we’re working with unions and economical authorities to solve their problems. But protests are different from riots. Those who are killing people with weapons, those are burning the bazaars, burning police alive, … these are not Iranians. I ask the people to not allow these individuals to take advantage of your cause, don’t allow them to disrupt the society.

As evidence of the pointless violence of the saboteurs that sabotaged the initial protests, Tehran's mayor said, ‘Over $18 million in damages to civilians properties after 2 nights of unrests. Fire trucks have been destroyed and set on fire, and our street sweepers (municipal workers) were also attacked & have been injured.’ The rioters also attacked ambulances, as this paramedic relates,

“I drove the ambulance into a street when suddenly at that moment, some were throwing metals, stones—everything of solid at us. Right in the middle of the street, they hit the ambulance window directly & hit us with an improvised Molotov cocktail. The glass shattered, the vehicle caught fire, and it caused a fire inside the cabin.”

The paramedics suffered burn injuries, as seen in the video.

Rioters have also burned Qurans, mosques, killed police and civil administrators, and civilians. Abroad, the supporters of the riots are calling for Iran to be bombed. Meanwhile, the original protestors from the bazaars have rescinded their association with this seditious bullshit.

As Fotros summarizes the letters above, “The merchants & economic unions that were originally protesting have all denounced & condemned the riots. Unions from Urmia, Tabriz, Isfahan, and Ardabil, all condemn the recent unrests and pledge they recognise and follow the directives of the Leader of Iran.”

Again I repeat that America sows these economic conditions (ie, the exchange rate vs. USD) and then tries to reap the whirlwind, with violent rioters that are paid and trained and directed by them (via 'Israel' in the main). Most Iranians see this, but you wouldn't see it from the Western coverage, which are part of the same outrage. The script is always, always, regime change, and what they leave is always societal obliteration. Resist their attempts to overthrow your brain, as the Iranian people have, again and again.

Meanwhile what they don't report is that people have turned out in the millions to support the ‘regime,’ which is in fact the only fully independent country in the region, which is why the White Empire hates it so much.

The US media is citing 2,000 dead in the riots, but that source is from the National Endowment for Democracy, a CIA cutout, which Zei Squirrel has reported.

It's funny that my sources are Iranian students between their exams and squirrels between their nuts, but that's the state of the world. The mainstream (Western) media is full sewage and you must drink at what streams you can find unpolluted. Iran seems to have quelled the violence, but it's shocking how many violent cells the White Empire has within, and how they use it to try and justify violence from without. That's the story you won't get from the Western press, because they're in on it.

Venezuela

My sources are thin to non-existent here, so I offer mainly references. Via my Resistance Is Fertile cohost Benji, some trusted sources are Camila Escalante, Ollie Vargas, Orinoco Tribune, Roí Lopez Rivas, Orienys Ortiz, Justin Podu, William Camacaro, Joe Emersberger, Ben Norton, Roger Harris, Mint Press, and Telesur. I won't link them because I'm lazy, but you can find them.

What I can say is that in World War III terms, Venezuela has limited impact on the great game, though of course great impact for Venezuelans. As much as 'America' tries to position Venezuela's oil as somehow existential for China and excellent for them, Venezuela only accounts for 4% of China's imports and they have significant amounts stockpiled and close. Meanwhile Venezuela's extraction infrastructure requires significant investment and as Exxon's CEO told Trump, “Today, it’s uninvestable.”

The real play here is for Trump's ego, at the expense of Venezuelan lives. As Michael Ledeen said, “Every 10 years or so, the United States needs to pick up some small crappy little country and throw it against the wall, just to show the world we mean business.” This is the American business model, attack the competition. However, their real competition is with rising Asia, and Russia and China are relatively insulated from this. Venezuela is a feint the wrong way.

And Venezuela's government still holds, and still has the same position as Maduro, which is that we'll sell you oil normally on commercial terms. Trump is talking about taking tens of millions of barrels out but A) the pumps barely work and B) they haven't overthrown the government and actually taken control. To me it's unclear what's going on here, and I refer you to the better sources at the start of this section.

Greenland

There is no honor among thieves and it's funny to see colonial Denmark cry foul about Denmark. Denmark's Ambassador to the USA said—with no sense of self-awareness—that the US should not invade Greenland because Denmark helped them invade Afghanistan.

In fact Greenland belongs to neither of them, just as America actually belongs to Native Americans, but we're not talking about land back here. This is just land-grabbing betwixt land thieves and a pox on all their houses.

I'm sure Trump is itching to take Greenland because US Presidents are remembered fondly for land grabs (ie, the Jefferson Purchase). Then he might as well take Canada to round out the map, and fracture the Greater White Empire from the Lesser White Empire once and for all.

Palestine

Palestine is the brave heart of the Resistance and—though taking a beating—it's still undefeated. On Resistance Is Fertile we spoke with Mohammad Al-Turk. He described, firstly, how they get Internet. They buy cards for one or two shekels that give them a few hours of connectivity from routers mounted on poles. In my mind Gaza is a wasteland, but he described some sort of survival normalcy, and they don't waste time. He somehow did his exams in the street, and did well. He described a recent graduation ceremony of doctors in the hospitals 'Israel' destroyed but which they are rebuilding.

I must repeat, however, that 'Israel' has not ceased fire, there are regular massacres, bombings, and assassinations across Gaza and incursions and mob violence in the West Bank. As Hamas said,

The continued rise in the number of martyrs and victims among our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip—whether due to direct killing committed by the criminal occupation army, the extreme cold, or the collapse of destroyed buildings on the heads of the displaced, as happened last night, leading to the martyrdom of four of our people and the death of several children—expresses a worsening humanitarian catastrophe. This is a direct result of the occupation's deliberate policy of preventing the entry of aid and basic shelter materials, primarily caravans, tents, and heating supplies, as well as obstructing the entry of equipment necessary for rubble removal, which turns buildings prone to collapse into a permanent danger threatening the lives of civilians.

And as the Al-Ahrar Movement said of the West Bank,

The escalation of settlement in the occupied West Bank increases the state of tension in the Palestinian areas and constitutes a flagrant violation of the historical reality.

During the past year, more than 1,800 attacks by settlers were recorded, causing the martyrdom of many of our people and the injury of others, in addition to causing severe damage to property affecting 280 residential communities in various cities and neighborhoods of the West Bank and Al-Quds.

I'll give you just one example of the daily statistical reports that the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza somehow still reports,

Daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and injured due to the "israeli" aggression on the Gaza Strip

7 new martyrs (including 5 retrieved martyrs) and 4 injuries have arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours.

A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them until now.

A baby girl (7 days) and another child (4 years old) died due to severe cold, raising child deaths due to cold since the beginning of winter to 6 deaths.

Since the ceasefire (October 11): Total martyrs: 442, Total injuries: 1,240, Total retrievals: 697

The toll of the "israeli" aggression has risen to 71,419 martyrs and 171,318 injuries since October 7, 2023.

This is all part of 'Israel's' “Generals' Plan,” which says (as published by retired Major General Giora Eiland in the 'Israeli' press, via me),

The international community warns us of a humanitarian disaster in Gaza and of severe epidemics. We must not shy away from this, as difficult as that may be. After all, severe epidemics in the south of the Gaza Strip will bring victory closer and reduce casualties among IDF soldiers. And no, this is not about cruelty for cruelty’s sake, since we don’t support the suffering of the other side as a goal but as a means.

I asked Mohammad Al-Turk if, amidst all this, he still believes in liberation and he said yes. They believe that 'Israel' is a temporary entity which will disappear without wider imperial support, and I replied that 'America' is a temporary entity also, hence the scare quotes for both. Mohammad said that in Gaza they call 'Israelis' the new Mongols, and–all due respect to Genghis Khan—this does describe the return to brutal siege warfare that perhaps never went away, but was hidden by electronic warfare through the media and Hollywood.

The sacrifice and steadfastness of Gaza has laid waste to those decades of propaganda and—though they observed the ceasefire most honorably—they are still fighting back when attacked in Gaza and the West Bank. Describing an ambush in the Al-Yasmina neighborhood of the West Bank, Hamas leader Basem Naim said,

The response of the resistance today in Nablus confirms that action is possible and that thwarting the Zionist enemy's plans is possible, and that our people will not surrender. According to the laws of physics "pressure generates an explosion," so the explosion is inevitably coming and it is only a matter of time.

Ukraine

The worst front for Empire, and the one they're trying to distract from by throwing weaker countries against the wall, is Ukraine, which is all but fallen. Like the Nazis who nonetheless lost more troops (and killed more people) after WWII was obviously lost, re-Nazified Ukraine has kept fighting long after it was a lost cause. White Empire actually conquered Ukraine in 2014 and Russia is liberating what it can of the Russian-speaking parts.

Since this is a fraternal war (effectively a civil war) as Putin had said, the Russians have been quite restrained compared especially to imperial tactics, which are to hit civilians first, hardest, and worst. People in Kiev have been able to go on as if they weren't at war, recently. In response to Ukrainian (really US and British directed) attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, Russia has been hitting Ukrainian energy infrastructure hard. My main source here is Slavyangrad, which reported during the attacks last week:

▪️Power surges and flickering traffic lights are observed in the capital of Ukraine. Some areas are already without electricity and water.

▪️Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel in the Kiev region are almost completely without electricity. There are also problems with water supply there.

As they quoted from Ukrainian media,

"There's not just a power outage in the city networks - there's absolutely no power since 4 am. It's been almost a day [more than a day] without electricity, heat, or water. This is sheer hell. All their promises are futile," a resident of Lesnyi Massif was quoted by the media overnight.

Keep in mind, this is the dead of winter. This is a tragedy, it's effectively a civil war within the former USSR, fomented by the USA. As you can see, same strategy everywhere. Sow chaos (with the coup and Donbass war that started in 2014) and reap the whirlwind for arms dealers and assorted ghouls. The fact is that Ukraine would have never started this war any more than Sri Lanka would start a war with India and, indeed, Zelensky himself ran on a peace platform. Now his term has run out and he's just there as a corrupt front-man for White Empire, leading a zombified, hollowed out nation, which America is now publicly humiliating, along with the war-dog Europeans. This is the most losing front in all the wars the White Empire is fighting. They're just fronting.

As Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Nebenzia, said recently,

Neither the failed French summit of the "coalition of the willing" nor the advancement of NATO forces to Ukraine's borders will help the Ukrainian clique. Many recently boasted about this, and the threat of which largely served as a trigger for the start of the special military operation, in addition to our desire to end the war initiated by the Kiev regime against its own people.

Neither will the incantations about a "ceasefire" help in the hope of catching their breath after crushing defeats on the battlefield. Zelensky's absurd "conditions", which do not take into account reality, the connection with which he has long lost, will not help him either, which he puts forward in response to US proposals, effectively nullifying them.

Suddenly, the European Commission started talking about the fact that at some stage the EU "will have to engage in dialogue with Russia". I just want to ask: where were you before? Until the Kiev leader comes to his senses and agrees to realistic negotiation conditions, we will continue to solve the problem by military means. He was warned in due time - the conditions for negotiations will only get worse for him with each passing day. And for every despicable attack on peaceful Russian citizens, there will be a tough response.

This isn't all but that's all from me in terms of news roundup. Now I will do a bit of analysis for paying subscribers.
