The United Nations is the fig leaf they put over colonialism, to tell us it was a statue. Alas, colonialism is still very much a living, killing thing, and the UN is in on it. The UN created 'Israel,' sustained it for generations, and now dies with 'Israel' and its general ruination.

The fact is that since the UN adopted the Genocide Convention, its bastard child has have been practicing it. 'Israel' is a war crime, 'Israel' is genocide, there is no separating the destruction from its creation, and as 'Israel' came from and is still entertained by the UN, they are also guilt. And, somehow knowing this, the UN is executing itself. Today, 'Israel' openly murders UN workers (especially in the UNRWA) and the UN allows it. 'Israel' openly defies UN orders (like through the ICJ) and the UN invites them to the podium. The world adopted the UN to stop horrors like the German holocaust from happening, but here we are again, the usual suspects doing the usual war crimes, under the UN aegis. Indeed, the UN is used to condemn not the genociders, but those resisting. They cannot even condemn a genocide and instead sanction the people fighting it, like Iran. The UN is dead to me because too many people are dead to them.

What we have today is a UN where a war criminal wanted by its own judicial organ is given speaking time, while even the reprehensible representative of Palestine is forbidden from even attending. Where the controlling US openly denies visas to people it doesn't like and flexes its imperial control of the whole institution. What we have today is a UN whose ‘international’ atomic agency gets Iran's legitimate nuclear scientists murdered, and where its ‘international’ court judges themselves get sanctioned. People thought the ‘United’ in the United Nations meant the world, but no, it's just the United States.

The latest travesty is the rump White Empire (Europe) using the UN to sanction Iran for its legitimate nuclear program after Iran was attacked by 'Israel', a completely illegitimate nuclear state. This latest sin just stems from the UN's original sin, the creation of 'Israel', as Helena Cobban says. At this point, the UN's preservation of the abomination 'Israel' corrupts and delegitimizes the whole institution. As Cobban said, “I have also, for many years, clung to the hope that the UN’s mechanisms, procedures, and principles could, if properly applied, lead to the rollback of Israel’s multi-directional expansionism and to the end of its current genocide in Gaza. I no longer harbor such hope.” Me neither.

At this point we must conclude that the UN didn't innocently create this violent ethnostate, and they didn't ignorantly allow all its violations, they are in on it. The UN is part and parcel of this long genocide, they're the ones who parceled out Palestine in the first place, and who allowed apartheid for generations, and whose institutions now veto any ceasefire and are used to fire on the Resistance instead. International law was born dead, but now it's well and truly buried.

The fact, quite visible today, is that the ‘Security Council’ are just three colonizers in a trenchcoat (US, UK, and France), with Russia and China as window-dressing. Those three cuntries use their vetoes to commit genocide and start wars constantly and just ignore the UN when it inconveniences their coloniality. Only the most recent indecency is the physical and economic attacks on Iran, all under the UN's aegis. The one nation state fighting this genocide is attacked by the United Nations. What the hell?

The United Nations is neither united nor nations, the masses are openly ignored to preserve the abomination, under the same old imperial administration. The world remains topsy turvy because the same old colonizers have their thumb on the scales, and they bite their thumbs at us in, which is a disgrace to us, if we bear it. Verona, Verona Beach, York, New York, what's the difference? Just as Baz Luhrmann remade Romeo and Juliet into a modern setting, the UN has been used to remake White Empire in a modern setting that looks increasingly atavistic. The UN is not merely in New York—the heart of White Empire—it is the cloak that enables White Empire to skulk about in broad daylight, like it's something participatory. We in fact participate in Empire by legitimizing the charade, that there's something un- about it, when in fact it's the same shit, different day.

Thankfully, though dangerously, real countries are increasingly not playing that game. Russia and China tried to delay the snapback of sanctions on Iran and will now largely ignore them, being under sanctions themselves, and having some sense of decency. These sanctions add an economic blow to the physical blows Iran has taken, and the UN is just another weapon in the hands of oil and spoil hungry imperialists. Russia and China are not part of this system and, though under the trenchcoat of the Security Council, they are doing what White Empire does to UN decisions it doesn't like (like the vote on a human right to food). Simply ignoring them. Russia and China have said they will ignore the latest sanctions on Iran and considers them illegitimate. Which they are. And this ignoration is a condemnation of the UN itself, as it dissolves in decorum.

The sad fact is that because of the UN, poorer, less powerful countries like my Sri Lanka must follow the sanctions or risk economic warfare on ourselves. Thus you can see how the UN is used to perpetuate colonialism, under the fig leaf that it's a dead statute that the UN of course condemns. But then, who created 'Israel', who sustained it all these years, and who is condemning the people fighting genocide and literally platforming the people doing the killing? Again, why is the UN even in New York, the heart of White Empire itself? And what are these sanctions, which Empire has used to kill at least 38 million people since the 1970s alone, making them worse than the Nazis by a mile, using the fig leaf of the UN to cover their sins?

'Israel' is the original sin of the UN, and it's ultimate UNdoing, in the end. If the UN cannot stop the obvious genocide in front of us, what is the use of the thing? If the UN started this genocide, what are we even doing? The ICJ, the IAEA, the IMF, all these ‘international’ organization were always just imperialism in a trenchcoat. Now that the White Empire obviously has no clothes, the UN is revealed as a ruse, and the ruination of all the dreams of cooperation people embedded therein. There's no justice, it's just us. The deaths in Gaza by the red hand of the UN mark the death of the UN as in institution. To the former, good God, to the latter, God damn.
