It's the little things that should scare you. My mum used to send care packages to my nephews in America, but those have stopped under the de minimis regime. Somewhat bigger, but I've been unable to travel to America since Biden, for speech. Now those speech restrictions are extended to everybody for anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, extremism (as defined by them) and mere hostility. That's how fast fascism creeps up on you. Fast fascism.

The easiest way to understand fascism is to just look at it. Fasces are a bundle of rods and an axe, all the equipment needed to inflict corporal punishment. They were a sign of a Roman magistrate's imperium, basically their authority to whack you. The fasces continues today as the symbol of the Senate and people of New Rome (SPQR, except stupider).

Fascism is thus symbolized, if not defined, by the ability (nay, duty) of insiders to whack outsiders. People might be like uhhh, that's not democracy, but every Western democracy is like this, citizenship is a violently arbitrary category, historically defined by not being some foreign/slave class. As the Greeks, who were not coy about this.

Fascism is simply not being coy about what Western Civilization actually is. Conquest, repression, and whacking anyone who gets in the way. Western society keeps returning to fascism like a dog returns to its vomit, it's irresistible. That's how they came up and in down times, it's what they cling to. A minority banding together based on the conception of Whiteness, banning the majority as savages or illegals, and brandishing weapons at all and sundry. That's why I call it White Empire, it is what it is.

When things are going good, white society can ignore this. Liberalism applies a spray tan of decency. Like the Romans, Americans incorporated people from the provinces and periphery (Indians, women, gays) to administer the center. An Empire without DEI is actually dying. But an Empire that is dying freaks out and reverts to base fascism. Like the human body shutting down and cutting blood flow to the extremities to preserve the vital organs, the body politic demands blood flow from the minorities to preserve its violent origins. Hence you get the return to overt white supremacy from the White Empire now. Precisely because it's over and they're losing it. They've got a gnawing feeling they're not the big dog anymore, and return to their vomit for comfort.

Trump was boiling the pot slow in his first terms, but the frogs are hopping now. Besides the whole-ass genocide they're conducting over there, where people care but don't quite care, they're conducting half-assed fascism at home, and of this the liberals are aware. A million souls cry out in terror, OK, but Jimmy Kimmel cancelled? Oh dear. Trump is doing what he said he'd do and what he was elected on, sending darkies to concentration camps, arresting legal immigrants (indentured servants) for speech, and slowly cutting off immigration entirely. This is the same way Nazis started on their enemies and anyways, the Nuremberg Laws were inspired by American Jim Crow laws. The Nazis actually watered down the American racism. We're talking about with the OGs of white supremacism here.

Once it starts, fascism creeps up on White people fast because it is not a change but rather their base condition. Early America was wildly fascist to Native Americans and Africans, a bunch of white guys banding together to axe them. America, across its history is undoubtably worse than the Nazis who at least had the decency to disappear after 12 years. The Americans are still going! Hitler would be proud of America, as he was at the beginning. As Hitler said about the immigration subject (in Mein Kampf),

I fully realise that nobody likes to hear these things, but it would be difficult to find anything more illogical or more insane than our contemporary laws in regard to State citizenship.

At present there exists one State which is making at least a feeble attempt to follow a sounder principle in this respect. It is not, however, in our model German Republic, but in the U.S.A. that efforts are being made to conform at least partly to the dictates of common sense.

By refusing to allow immigrants to enter the country if they are in a bad state of health, and by excluding certain races from the right to become naturalised as citizens, they have begun to introduce principles similar to those on which we wish to ground the völkisch State.

Note that Hitler was talking about America back then. You can debate whether Trump is making America great again, but you can't debate that he's making America America again. The rainbow flags and Black Lives Matters flags were mere hypocritical bunting over the American flag that they wave incessantly because they know it's stolen land and have to convince themselves of belonging. Fascism speaks to this deep longing, to find meaning and authority through punishing someone else, to feel that old impervious imperium flowing.

And it comes on fast because they're not ascending to new heights of depravity but rather descending to the depths from which they came. The fasces is already front and center of the House of Representatives, and it has always represented American ideology. So the dog returns to its vomit, the falcon cannot hear the falconer, whatever. Just look out for the little things. Fascism comes fast once it's flowing, and by the time it's obviously time to go, it's too late for going.
