The President of Sri Lanka has a Twitter account, but doesn’t use it personally so much. His quite powerful secretary recently took over the handle for a question and answer session, which was quite interesting. Quick takeaways (via the Republic Square) are that the 13th amendment is doomed, PayPal in SL is for reals, social media is viewed warily by the establishment, and that Mihin Lanka is still an albatross.
@gopiharan embedded the whole sess. It’s worth a read thru. It is nice that the government is paying attention to social media in a non-hostile way.
