Archduke Franz Ferdinand is famous mainly for dying and setting off World War I, which in turn set off World War II. It thankfully wasn’t a trilogy. Above, however, is a photo of him killing something. In this case an elephant, in what was then Ceylon, AKA Sri Lanka. Honestly, looking at that photo makes me want to assassinate him a little bit. Perhaps the elephants had their revenge.
I found this via the Old Ceylon Facebook Page. Of all pages. This one is worth a like. Get fascinating photos and documents every day.
No post on the death of Tony Greig?
great …..this elephant story made me so confused…..I posted this pic on FB…..immediately somebody from Sri Lanka was upset…..But I didn’t promote elephant haunting…… I liked the pic……so I don’t understand the confusion….!!! Bye the way are there same reactions about the Syirian war….?
This archduke is a well known reptilian. He is actually still alive and currently inside the body of US Senator Thad Cochran!
Isn’t this the guy who’s buried in Nuwara Eliya and his grave keeps getting struck by lightening?
