This is kinda awesome/creepy. It’s a big four-legged robot which seems able to follow a person through pretty irregular terrain. And play dead, and roll over a bit. It’s kinda amazing but also kinda scary. This is produced by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency so it’s military technology. So soon it’ll be drones in the sky and walking robots on the ground. There are of course, other possible applications for robots, but for now AlphaDog is being envisaged as a military mule.
