Via Boycy, this is a online trilingual dictionary. Trilingual print dictionaries are, in my experience, impossible to find. Even Sinhala/Tamil is hard. I had no idea what the Department Of Official Languages did until now, but this is something tangible and useful, done in collabo with the German Embassy and GIZ. It seems to have a base of 26,313 Sinhalese words and their equivalents in English and Tamil. Sometimes it returns too many results (try ‘fish’), but on the whole it’s a good initiative.

where’s the link indi..?
It’s at: http://www.trilingualdictionary.lk/
d’oh. Thanks Fahim, it’s added above
Very useful – just wish it had the phonetic Singhala & Tamil!
Another Sinhala Dictionary to mention – http://dictionary.bhasha.lk/
(I wonder it supports tamil )
It does. Check the transliterate option.
Man, thanks a billion. Now I can make more mistakes in my language skills. :) kidding aside, I can reduce a number of books I carry around.
