Titivillus is the patron demon of this blog. He’s a subcontractor of Lucifer, tasked with introducing errors into manuscripts. In his own words “I am a poure dyuel, and my name ys Tytyvyllus … I muste eche day … brynge my master a thousande pokes full of faylynges, and of neglygences in syllables and wordes” (via Wikipedia).
Traditionally, Titivillus has worked to introduce errors into manuscripts as they were copied. In the modern era, however, he has found more work in the burgeoning literate culture of Facebook and blogs and the net. On this blog alone he visits at least thrice daily. I’m assuming he has scaled in the same manner as Santa Claus. I initially spelled that ‘Santa Clause’. There’s Titivillus again.
I knew it! I ju_t knew there had to be one like that around. I_ he the one that _tole the _ from my key pad?
Worse, your errors are used against you on the Day of Judgement… :S
Chances are, I’ll have a lot to answer for on the day of judgement. But consider what they’re saying up in Ireland,
God made man in the beginning
Man spoiled his chances by sinning
We trust that the story
Will end in God’s glory
But right now, the other side’s winning
The other side seem to be having the most fun too. So who’s side would you rather be on?
