You know, everything is a remix. The newest thing is remixing movies into songs. I first heard this with the Wishery remix above, made entire from sounds in Walt Disney’s Snow White. It’s kinda trippy, kinda great. I’ve also included a few other remixes below, including one which takes the concept to its logical extreme.
This Charlie And The Chocolate Factory (original) takes mainly the lyrics, I think the sounds are outside. I like it cause it takes a rather aggressive moment in a kids movie and makes it into a hard track.
And now spastic German DJ Flula Borg (of this fame) has taken the art form to its logical extreme by remixing not the movie Jeff Who Lives At Home, but the movie promo tour.
All very entertaining and creative stuff. Just goes to show that copyright and innovation aren’t necessarily correlated. Unless you mean inversely.
