Google is making Android glasses. You see a visual overlay in one eye and control the thing with your head, somehow. If they could make them look like Wayfarers I would be totally down.

Actually, that sounds like hell. But I wouldn’t mind some subtle information overlay on my life. If they could run Facebook facial recognition and help me remember names that would make me a better human being. For travelling this type of thing would be priceless.
The danger is that it looks like you’re wearing a computer on your head, which is not cool. The Daily Mail mockup is terrifying. Gen 1 will probably be weird looking, regardless, but it could hopefully evolve into something subtle, like Wayfarers. According to 9to5 Google the prototype looks more like Oakleys, which is kind of wack, but not irredeemably so.
The ideal photo experience is snapping what you see, and you could theoretically with this type of thing, though not for a while. Still, it’s cool. It’s all about the interface, and these guys can only go on making different sized tablets for so long.
