I don’t know what they’re saying, but it has pictures
In Sri Lanka, we still have a village named Saddam Hussein. He built the houses there and they were so happy he probably could’ve crashed. In India, ecommerce company Snapdeal.com (a Groupon groupie) installed water pumps and the people were so thankful that they renamed the town. They now live in Snapdeal.com.
Snapdeal’s founder Kunal Bahl said,
“India has about 640,000 incorporated companies,” he said. “Many are much larger and more resourced than us. Even if ten percent decided to do something like this, 64,000 villages would have clean water.”
It actually makes a bit of sense.
