I am not an avid gamer, but I do have a weakness for simulation and building games. A friend once gave me a copy of SimCity 3000 and I didn’t leave my dorm room for two weeks, stopping only occasionally to inhale Ramen noodles. This is obviously not healthy, but Burger Tycoon is a lower complexity game that’s good for spending an hour or two. The objective is to run a McDonald’s type business well, balancing evil with profit and keeping just out of public contempt.
The basic objective is to raise cows, feed them, manage staff and marketing/PR. You can do this correctly but it is invariably faster to add industrial and animal waste to the feed, bulldoze the rainforest, fire employees and pay off politicians and health officials when people get sick and complain. There is a cheat to starting out if you need, the main trouble is running out of meat. Getting to the end, however, is something I can’t quite do. I can run the business sustainably, but who wants to do that for hours on a computer screen. It was fun while the challenge lasted, however.
Poor McDonald’s
nice game.. thx for sharing.
nice to have a bit of computer stuff among those social and political things. ;)
Hello. I see that you don’t update your blog too often. I know
that writing content is boring and time consuming. But did you know that there is a tool that allows you to create new articles using existing content (from article directories or other websites
from your niche)? And it does it very well.
The new posts are unique and pass the copyscape test.
