This is an item I have long coveted. A backpack with solar panels that charges laptops, and they ship to Sri Lanka for $3. Alas, the orange is a bit goday but still thinking about it. Outstation Sri Lanka has spotty electricity. One can function for about a day without falling off the grid, then it’s cadging electricity from restaurants and friendly kades. Even then you’re never guaranteed the right adapter, or that everything works. Having a backpack which would recharge when left in the sun would be great, at least for a cell phone. I am a bit suspicious, however, as it also has a built in ultrasonic mosquito repellant.
I’ve bought stuff from Brando before and they’ve worked out OK. Do sometimes break after a while. This backpack costs $189 and it seems a bit too good to be true, but it does seem good. They do however, actually ship to Sri Lanka, and cheaply, which is an unbelievable rarity in online shopping.
