Buddhi from Wagon Park singing at the last Open Mic
FYI, we’re having another Open Mic this Thursday at 8. Should have some music from Wagon Park and some poems and prose, as well as whatever anyone feels like reading. This is at a friends house (not Punchi Theatre), but just look out for a Sign Of The Gorrilla, before the Borella post office. That should lead you to the relevant house.
If anyone’s new or wondering what’s the point, there’s a lot more to Sri Lanka than war, not that that isn’t a part of it. We also have sex and fun and random ideas and some of us can actually express it in an interesting fashion. And why not.
So, it’ll be in Borella, just past the junction (heading away from Colombo), just look out for the Sign Of The Gorilla.
We’ll try to make some arrack malum in a bucket and maybe pick up some wade from the street, for people that show up on time. The Ho Ho’s are wonderful hosts so should be fun. And don’t worry if it rains.
Punchi Theatre Open Mic. Note that I still haven’t uploaded everything from that, plus some stuff is on YouTube.
Above are videos from the very first Open Mic, at Barefoot.
