This is a portrait of Subu from a photo taken at Anju’s homecoming. The thumb in front and the orange finger that makes up the background belong to Senuri. The curly thing is a streamer that Senuri was blowing.
My parents left town and left Subu in charge of the house and money. This might seem odd since she’s the youngest child, but it actually makes a lot of sense. I’m 22 and graduated and all, but I can’t find a matching pair of socks. Anyways, in order to buy Subu a gift I’d have to ask her for money. Hence, this is in lieu of a physical gift.
It’s difficult to say anything about Subu without pissing Anu off, but let’s see. Subu is popular, beautiful, and kind. The last is probably the most important. On graduation day of high-school I adopted a cat. It didn’t really occur to me that I was leaving in 3 months. I also picked the most ornery one of the bunch for some reason. As I was carrying him downstairs he jumped out of my hands and we had to chase him down. When I brought him home he took a dump in the living room. When I went to Uni the cat was still ornery and un-pettable and Subu was a little kid. Now that I’ve come back home the cat actually snuggles and purrs and Subu is all grown up. I had nothing to do with either of these things. Its all Subu. Happy Birthday!
thank u so much aiya. i really like my birthday present, and damian the cat really does like u. :)
hello, i can only say that all you are saying about subu is true, i have experienced it first hand and there is no other way to put it knowing that anu might see what we write about her sister. :)
the fact is just that many of the things you left out and the ones you didnt also account for anu and therefore there should be no reason why not to say it :) Especially today where anu is graduating from high-school, recieving her IB diploma.
They are both some incredibly nice girls but i wont congest your page completely by telling all the good stuff about them so I’ll leave it at this :D
sisters are truly amazing people arent they? especially younger ones. what blessings we are, how we enrich the world with our fabulous personalities. :)
Having a sister or sisters is the best, I’m not sure about brothers though, because I don’t have any. I have 2 sisters, Hazel and Kelli, we’re triplets so we’re pretty close to each other. Our features are almost identical so people often have trouble telling us apart, even our parents sometimes have difficulty telling who is who, but for some reason we never have trouble telling each other apart. It’s fun though, because if there was ever anything I wasn’t good at ( like talking a math test) I could get one of my sisters to do it for me and nobody would know it wasn’t me, I would do the same for them. We hated it when we were kids and people used to ask our parents rude or silly questions about us like: “Are they cloned?” “Are they natural?” “How can you put up with all 3 of them all at once?” or “Why don’t you dress them in the same clothes?” Sometimes we still get questions like these, but the answers are the same: no, we are not cloned, yes, we are natural, we were good kids so we were easy to handle, and we don’t wear the same clothes because we ARE 3 different individuals, not one person.
People often think that we do everything together and think the exact same way, but that’s simply not the case, just because we all happen to have been born at the same time doesn’t mean we’re attached at the hip (or anywhere else) we’re just like any other siblings basically. Actually our mom didn’t even know she was carrying triplets, the doctor told her she was just having twins, so she didn’t find out until the doctor cut her open and found three instead of two. Our parents were cool about it though and raised us to the best of their ability.
