Weird Castles Outside Work

Wednesday, September 24th, 2003

Ron says it’s the water reservoir but I think it’s a castle. Upper Campus.

Gay Jews and Stolen Diamonds

Monday, September 22nd, 2003

Ran into my boy on campus. Gay and devoutly Jewish. Very proud to be Jewish, he lives next door to the Shul and he is always flyering for something. Actually, he always has flyers attached to his backpack and person. I won’t call him out here, let’s just call him Jewtron 3000. Got such a [...]

Where I Work

education_building_mcgill.jpgView from the Stairwell, cause I fell down into the busted-ass elevator and decided to run up the stairs instead. Sketchy elevator. First off, it opens before I push a button, so I’m like sweet, but it pulled up half-a-foot below ground level. Then it closed the door, went somewhere, but dropped me off on the same floor. I like the stairs. You get a nice view of the Centre-Ville.

They said I was more involved in the Jewish community than the Jews they’d interviewed. Probably true…

I Hate This Skirt

Tuesday, September 16th, 2003

All the girls round Montreal wear these floppy tutu skirts and I hate them. This one has two rows, and some have 3 or 4 rows of fabric that frill out, so it looks like they have no hips. I like hips. These skirts suck. Looks like a freaking laundry bag. I do like being [...]

Law Library

Tuesday, September 16th, 2003

I used to sleep here but the conversations I overheard were just too stupid. People talking about internships filing papers for big suits… business law, competing for grad school, ecchhhh…. I didn’t say it. This was posted in the Library in reference to “Freedom of Speech” – how it has in effect been commodified and [...]

That’s What I Want To Know

Tuesday, September 16th, 2003

I hate learning code in lecture. You just have to do it.
