The Best Endorsement Of Obama, From Snoop Dogg (Lion?)
Basically, yeah. Snoop puts it about right, with some F-bombs. George W. Bush really really messed up America. He took Republican craziness to its logical extreme and got the country in two wars, raised the debt and crashed the economy. Basically, he broke everything. It’s taking Obama a while to clean it up, and the Republicans aren’t helping.
It’s funny watching American politics from here. It seems like half of the country is just crazy, but it’s still the most interesting political sport around. What’s strangest is watching the Republican party descend into sheer, destructive madness. When I was young Republicans were kinda evil, but smart. Now there’s just evil and dumb.
I’ve been watching Real Time With Bill Maher and when he has all ‘liberal’ guests on they have rational conversations and it seems like problems can be solved. When he has ‘conservatives’, however, they simply don’t live in the same universe of facts. It’s like the premises are just not the same. For many Republicans, the ideology seems to warp reality – tax cuts for the rich are always necessary, supply-side economics works (despite being tried and failing multiple times), contraception is bad, government health care is evil, and this is all a slippery slope towards the Anti-Christ. Oh, and war is fun and easy and torture is fine. It’s just madness.
But anyways, go Snoop Lion, and Obama.

I’m happy to be featured in Echelon magazine’s 40 Under 40 feature, profiling young people who contribute to the economy in some way, mainly in business but also in terms of innovation and thought leadership. It’s an interesting article not just in that I’m in it (mainly for work on indi.ca and

In 2009 this strange character appeared on the Sri Lankan Internet scene, getting angry, flaming, trolling whatever. Then he started naming anonymous bloggers, posting comments as people’s kids, nasty stuff, for which I removed him from
Obama, the first affirmative action nigger president of the United States, the worst of the US presidents ever, worse than Jimmy Carter, is going to loose this time. Blacks belong to the gutter, nowhere else.

“but it’s still the most interesting political sport around.” – agreed, and Bill Maher is awesome.
