Social Media Day: This Saturday
June 30th is Mashable’s third annual Social Media Day, and Colombo is one of the thousands of international meetups going on. The Kolamba meetup will be at Excel World from 4 to 7PM. No word on whether paint-balling is included. I’m guessing not.
Instead there’ll be social networking (heh), a presentation by Isura of Sarvodaya on social media for social good (see him on TV here), and an appearance by popular YouTuber JehanR (of Shit Sri Lankan Mothers Say fame). Plus I think all the usual Tweeps and geeks will be there. Should be cool.
There’s also a Refresh Colombo meetup happening today, btw, at 5h30. Lot going on a geekdom. But anyways, the Social Media Meetup should be fun. So I’ll be there. You can check them out and RSVP here.
