One thing that I thought was funny was the part where it says the average Indian can take the average Chinese in a fight. Seriously?? In what world? Even in the US, Chinese-American kids are so much more athletic than their Indian counterparts. Where is the Indian tradition in boxing and martial arts??

the truth is Indians are not competitive in anything and have never produce any thing which is truly world class – look at all the Olympiads be in in maths, physics, chemistry, biology competitions or even IT and programming competitions, Indians have never been tops. India may have a large IT industry but it is known not for quality but for quantity – the best programmers are Russians, East europeans and Americans, not indians.

and the worse is that india is not known for quality and world class brands – can’t think of any. there is no Bentley, Toyota, Benz, Louis Vuitton or anything which is the finest and the greatest. even when they win a title, they will never defend the title (only hockey in the olden days when competition was not serious and the game was not as athletic as today)

indians are a satisfied lot – and when they quite good or become rich they are so ARROGANT OR CORRUPT. they will probably win a world title for boasting, talking big and being hugely corrupt and they are so disorganized and so political and so damn selfish so sense of civic mindedness

Exactly my point. Inferior Genes. An athletic body, manliness, aggressive behavior all are genetic traits. Indians have a pacifist mentality simply because they are genetically inferior. Simply put, Indians are no more docile than the cows they worship.
We too are in the same boat, but it does not show since we are a very very small country. After competing for over 70 years we have only 2 medals. Idi Amin’s Uganda has 6, including 1 Gold. So go figure.

This is not meant to be crude or racist, but it’s simply because Indian people are not athletic or aggressive. India has always been the abused and colonized throughout history and it is a result of its pacifist mentality and limp wristed mentality. It even lost a war with China. In conclusion, Indians just don’t have what it takes to be athletic/manly/aggressive to win olympic medals.

Africa has the worse weather, hot, humid and dessert like. BUT they still run and create World Records?? African genes are evolved to run long distances.

You don’t have to study anything about India. Just look at Indians: Short, mud colored, ugly cockroaches. Nothing good can come out of cockroaches like that.

I am origin from Japan,
From my personal experience, the reason must be:

1. poor, lack of sport facility, which will result in hard to educate and find sport-talent from young ppl.

2. hot weather in Indian, not good weather condition to do sport

3. diet habit: a lot vegetarian make them weak.

4. religion: rich in thinking, reluctant to do strenuous exercise, only like Yuga.

5. lack of hard working spirit. From most of my coworker, I know they like making excuse, hard working only pushing from me. Most East Asian people no this kind of problem, they much much more disciplined and responsible.

If you agree with me, I said, this is only my personal experience.

I agree with everything you said. The Chinese in modern China are continuing to grow because of their tendency for their higher overall protein consumption than Indians. Having lived in the west and China, I can attest to, at least mid to large size cities, the Chinese are incredibly healthy people. Their lifespans tend to be lower but it would be a logical fallacy to assume they’re related. Healthcare quality and accessibility play a huge part.

Yao Ming has only been retired for a year. He’s achieved more success than Lin and put up some incredible numbers despite his limitations. One of his first games, he was guarded by David Robinson. Yao owned him. They needed to double him with Duncan and he still managed to put up impressive numbers. This is a rookie Yao against two future Hall-of-Famers.

China also has 3 of the top 100 tennis players. Li Na being at the top at 11th best.

Why just pick those 3 sports. Where do you see a professional Chinese-American diving or gymnastics champ? What about in track?

I do agree that it takes money to win. But China knows how to win and they’re winning now.

I am of Indian origin and I can tell you that one of the reasons the general belief among Indians that they are physically stronger than the Chinese comes from the fact that the East-Asian people were frequently ridiculed in their movies. They are shown as short, skinny and having feminine characteristics. This was quite common during the years following the short war with China where Nepalis used to fill in as Chinese characters. Ridiculing the Chinese somehow reduced the embarrassment of defeat.

I have been to the Northern parts of China (Harbin, Jilin, Beijing etc) and have observed that the people there are thick-boned and taller than the Southern Chinese (Guangdong, Guizhou etc). The average height among males there is about 5.8 to 6 feet.

About 25 years ago or so, China was just emerging from its difficult times and quite a few people were struggling to feed themselves. Now I see basketball courts all over China and the youngsters getting taller and taller. Perhaps, most Indians who have never been to China still have that image of a malnourished short statured Chinese person from the past stuck in their minds.

As a chinese person who lived in a place with a lot of indians I can asure you this isn’t even close to the truth. I live in a sort of coop where alot of Indians stay. I can asure you, I’ve arm wrestled every Indian in this place and I’ve beaten every single one. I’m not remarkably strong or big for a chinese person but from personal experience I can definitely say that Indians are fucking weak. I think it has to do with the Indian diet, I can’t be sure.

Not to be racist but experience has shown me that certain races possess certain strength attributes. On average there is a difference in strength between whites, blacks, east asians and Indians. Blacks are the strongest, then whites, then east asians and then Indians who show the biggest disparity. When I arm wrestle white and black people I see a general trend where they are overall stronger, but there still are a number of white people and black people who I can still beat. However, for Indian people it’s hilariously universal, I’ve beaten every single one, no fucking contest.

I know that personal experience isn’t an accurate source but pride blinds and I’m just speaking the truth as I know it. Plus I doubt any statician has the balls to research this.
