Party For Us (Photos)
‘Party For Us’ – a poster in Dehiwela.
These are some random photos from around. Above is a poster on a wall in Dehiwela. It say ‘Party For Us’. I presume this is some sort of political party rather than a bouncy castle party. Though I don’t really know. I have no idea what this poster is for. Besides awesome.
Arrack and soda at the Castle Street Hotel.
This here is a 5 second exposure of a table at the Castle Street Hotel, my favorite dodgy bar. I also took a long exposure of the big cat on the floor but that didn’t come out that well. This is just a shot of the usual 50 ml of Old Reserve arrack (mixed) and a cold soda. The table cloth and stuff I think look kinda cool. This is actually in the ‘nice’ side of the Castle Street Hotel, which, in addition to being a dodgy bar also has actual dodgy rooms. The regular side doesn’t have tableclothes. Naked tables.

Interesting poster that one. Party For Us.
That “Party” font appears to be the social gathering for entertainment kind. And yes, it is indeed awesome.
A political party in Sri Lanka will never invest on a poster unless they’ve display their party logo. However, this could be an experimental work of somebody. It seems like a party for the poor. with the colours, I assume it’s the government. But who cares, the poster is cool.
