India is still a very conservative society with widespread poverty……i think sri lanka is better off.the indian economic miracle is a farce as it doesnt reach the low levels in the income pyramid.As far as nightlife is concerned, Bangalore and Karnataka is under a BJP regime i guess. there is a so called morale police called bajrang dal that assauls women in pubs and other atrocities…ive made a mention abt bajrang dal earlier

Yes, I found this frustrating about Bangalore too. Especially since there are quite a few cool bars and pubs.

In Mumbai at least the clubs close at around 1. Still early compared to Lankan standards.
