Found this juice bar on Galle Road. It’s like a Pilawoos for juice, kinda. This is organic juice (as in, fruit stuffed in a blender) but without the snobbery. Instead the walls are lined with medical description of what the juice does for you. Pineapple, for example, can cause abortions. Mangoosteen is a good astringent for dysentery and chronic diarrhoea. The juice, medical indications aside, actually tastes quite good. Tamarind, cucumber and papaya is a surprisingly good combination. I just went for the usual mango juice with ice cream.

The place is on the landside of Galle Road, Bamblapitiya I guess. Past Majestic City and just before Vajira Road (where the salon is). Called Fruti Juice Mart.
