Inside The Cinnamon Lakeside

I’m at the Cinnamon Lakeside, having a coke by the pool. The entry is full LTTE style checks and balances, buses blocking the traffic, army checking the cars. They’re all very nice. Inside it’s a normal hotel, just a bit empty. Actually, there’s two people out here now. I drove by the Elections Commission in Rajagiriya and it’s surrounded by cops, again very nice. I don’t know. I think they’re really just trying to humiliate Fonseka.

This is highly dubious. Miss Travel is a travel/social networking site that connects ‘Generous’ and ‘Attractive’ travelers. To, like, travel together, I guess. It all seems a bit like arranged prostitution and trafficking. This is part of a broader online trend to connect rich men to younger, attractive women. Sites like

Well, Fonseka does have a lot of egg on his face. CHe could have stayed renowned as a great general, but leaves scorned and rejected by the population.
