Pillayan is right about not having powers and being overruled by EP governor. 2. That's why an ex-military guy was made govenor of the Eatern province. And also Northern province (it's control) 3. 13th amendment is not about power sharing. Look up the Governor's (Executive's) powers in the 13th amendment 4. The EP governor and EP Chief Minister (Pillayan) couldn't agree on arrangements to meet with Tamil Nadu MPs. And then people think the 13th amendment is power sharing. Load of nonsense! 5. Pillayan needs more support from democratically inclined parties to strengthen his efforts to help the people. take it easy, 1. Karuna's faction of the TMVP on the other hand, broke away from the rest of the party and officially joined the UPFA. In April I saw Pillayan/TMVP offices all across Batticaloa. When I visited a month later, they were all converted to UPFA offices, colourwashed in blue, with big boards of President and Karuna shaking hands.
