My last few comments have been rather negative, so I should say: Thank you for doing this, and for trying to make things better for the people in the camps as best you can. Things should never have been allowed to come to this pass, but they have, and I appreciate the fact that you’re trying to do things for my people.

If there’re enough people on the island who’d sooner occupy themselves with that than with celebrating their “glorious victory”, there’s still the possibility of hope.

Hey I do have a bit of news.

Yesterday I read your post on your moms organizationand then was reading a book by Rob Kling and guess what !!!!!!
Right at the end of the book in an appendix appears the name “rohan samarajiva” and I just had to grin. this was about a social informatics workshop attended by him in 1997 , the only sri lankan. What are the odds ? 2:am in the morning, I am at a library reading a book wth a mention of thee father and on the same day you have blogged about your mother !!!!.

ok, after I worte all that it does not sound so cool but at the time it was sooooo cooool.
Just take my word. may be I was wayy too high on caffeine. but so neat neat that our pop met Rob Kling. Legend !!!
