This government is becoming less and less defensible by the day. Particularly ominous, to my mind, is the unhealthy nexus that appears to be developing between the current civilian leadership and the military brass. The Sri Lankan armed forces have always been relatively non-partisan. Now, in their finest hour, this seems to be changing. Someone please tell me I’m wrong.
