For an instance let’s name the award – [Sponsor Name] Kottu Award. Since this is for Sri Lankan audience, we cannot ask for things like land an unmanned vehicle on the moon or balance the budget. It should be something simple like receive X number of comments within X number of months or receive X number of visitors within X number of months. The price include 15 minute of fame, been the first award winning Sri Lankan blogger and whatever a price sponsors come up with, such as mobile phones, laptops or full tank petrol. I don’t think it can be hard for finding a sponsor for such an event; at least we can get a beer company to sponsor something to do with Kottu. If not, there are enough Sri Lankan live outside the country may like to display their generous nature, if blogger community give them an opportunity.
