Royal Thomian Photos
Colombo is an oven and I’m marinating in beer, coke and arrack at the Royal Thomian match. Boycy got me a press pass and that’s enough to get in. I’m no old boy, but it’s nice to run into so many people I know. Royalists and Thomians are the two elite schools that run Colombo business and society – for better or incestuously retarded worst. There are, however, a lot of good people coming outta there. As they’re brokeback schools the crowd is mostly male, with a smattering of a few velly fit (and underage) birds. I don’t have ubermuch to say cause I’ve been hungover for the last three days, but here are some of my favorite photos. There are also some hidden goodies, including me and my cousin looking like a couple, Sophist, and Gehan Dias wearing capri pants and eating barbeque (at Harean’s birthday, happy, natch).
When 
I started off not really liking General Sarath Fonseka, him being part of the aggressive war effort. I didn’t support the war (largely cause I thought it would fail), and I thought Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Fonseka were gleefully stomping everything. Fonseka even came out and said “I strongly believe that this country belongs to the Sinhalese but there are minority communities and we treat them like our people,” in 2008 (
General Sarath Fonseka was arrested on a bunch of trumped up charges, but mainly for daring to threaten Mahinda in a Presidential election. Despite his poor health, Fonseka was arrested in February 2010 and sentence to three years. Word on the street now, however, is that he’ll be released soon. Like any day now. President Mahinda Rajapaksa has told 
I’ve been testing a lot of apps. A very interesting one is iPlayboy, from Playboy magazine. It’s bad porn but a good magazine, especially since you can read issues from its cultural heyday – the Mad Men era of the 60s.

Weird how all the people in the photos are acquaintances. I guess if you really need to meet a Thora or a Royalist who’s dodging you cos he owes you money then there are 3 days every year where you can definitely find him in a given location!
Do you know any of the people in the photos or are they just random ones you’ve taken? They seemed to have been happy to pose for you so I guess you do know them. If you do, then say hi to Thivanka and Lirunda for me :)
No wait, that’s Suranga? Bloody hell! When I last saw him he was a kiddie in short shorts playing tennis! Does he still have that daschund that tries to hump your legs?
