Lucy’s Birthday
Lucy’s dad rented a floor of this resto, and Jello Bar. I ate tuna sashimi & pasta & filet mignon. Got drunk on champagne & wine & scotch. Saw my friends and danced.
ok… i got a little drunk. My initial entry here sucked. Now it’s 10 pm on Sunday and I can think better.
Lucy, I met Lucy in Rez. She lived down the hall at Solin. She’d just moved in from Royal Vic or one of the other Rez’s.
I remember that Lucy was always going out or involved with something. She was part of this literary magazine, Montage. One time I submitted some pictures I drew in two minutes. One was of the pen I was drawing with. Montage rejected them but they made Lucy laugh.
I always remember that Lucy as really vibrant and attractive, and as the most civilized girl I’ve ever known. She went to Paris second year.
In a way that’s when I got to know her more. I look at my group of friends now and she’s connects all of us. I know Noah through Lucy, I know Shannon and Taylor thru Lucy. Through those people I know at least 25 really really cool people. So it all kinda started with Lucy.
I look at the Networks around me, and Lucy’s at the center of the one I care about most.
So, um, I like Lucy a lot.
She doesn’t know who 50 Cent is, which I think that’s really cool. I like Lucy’s world. She’s a really bright person and I think she makes everything around her so much brighter.
